Project Management Career: Numbers, Certifications, Pathways

Project management, by definition (according to the Project Management Institute, or PMI), “is the application of knowledge, skills, and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently.” It is nice to have a defined discipline; however, most people really want to know the answer to the most pressing question: “What’s in it for me?”

The Web’n Learn, “Project Management as a Career: Numbers, Certifications, Pathways” is designed to give you foundational information as it relates to the career path of project management.  In this session, participants will learn about the history of the project management discipline, the current marketplace of project management, the associated certifications, and the pathways for moving forward with a career in the project management discipline.

In addition, participants will gain insight into ways they can develop in the project management space.

This session is open for anyone who is pursuing project management as a career path or simply interested in learning more about the discipline. Moreover, it is a “must attend” for anyone who wants to know what this “project management thing is all about, anyway.”
