Christopher (Chris) J Wright can best be described as a
“Human Performance Optimization Catalyst.”
He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® and a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLPTM) with over twenty (20) years of project leadership, mentoring, consulting, and learning and development experience. Mr. Wright specializes in maximizing human capital performance through optimally aligned adult learning systems. Mr. Wright’s primary strengths and proven expertise are in the following areas:

Chris is Founder, President, and Managing Principal of Tanden LLC, a human and organizational performance optimization firm based in Raleigh, NC. Tanden is in the business of helping organizations successfully reach their desired project delivery goals and maximizing efficiencies through relevant and targeted adult learning programs. Tanden provides learning and development, project management and leadership consulting services in the areas of knowledge and skill development, strategic and project planning, and leadership coaching and mentoring. While at Tanden, Mr. Wright has worked with organizations in many different industries including: Health/Hospital Care, Crop Science, Financial Services, Department of Defense, Consumer Retail, Food and Beverage, Consumer Food and Beverage Products, City and State Governments, Higher Education, Wireless Telecommunications, and Information Technology.
Prior to Tanden, Chris worked with Ericsson’s Global Services division leading cutting edge wireless data/Internet projects while providing clients with expertise in project mentoring, leadership, and education services. Specific engagements included leading the effort to design, integrate, and launch the nationwide Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) for North America’s largest wireless telecommunications provider. The “Picture Messaging” program added incremental revenue for over 1 Million wireless subscribers in the first six months of service. In addition, Chris designed, developed, deployed, and managed Ericsson Mobile Internet Consulting’s Project/Program Management Competence Development Program.
Before his work at Ericsson, Mr. Wright worked at Cingular Wireless where he was a Senior Program Manager for large-scale, cross-functional projects/programs. At Cingular, Chris led the Year 2000 Compliance Program, Short Messaging Service and Digital application systems, Prepaid Billing and PCS system deployment projects among other information technology/engineering-based initiatives. In addition, Mr. Wright led the development and implementation of the cross-functional Project Management program.
Chris has a Masters degree in Project Management (MPM) from Western Carolina University and a Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Economics and Spanish from Georgia Southern University. He is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Project Management Institute (PMI)® where he served as the Vice President of Education for the North Carolina chapter of the Project Management Institute (NCPMI).
