Webinar Stakeholder Engagement: the role of the project sponsor
10/16/2015 @ 12:30 EDT - 2:00 EDT
$21.00Webinar Stakeholder Engagement: The Role of the Project Sponsor
By basic definition, the project sponsor is a key individual project stakeholder who authorizes the financial resources required for the project. His or her role should – and typically will – go beyond simply giving the “OK” to spend money (approval and funding) for the benefit of the project. More specifically, the project sponsor must be sure to: align the projects goals with those of the organization, be a champion for the project, and resolve the conflicts the project team cannot.
This Web’n Learn is recommended for project managers, team members, and project sponsors alike as it will provide insight into the essential roles and expectations of the project sponsor. Participants will explore not only the traditional duties of the role; they will also learn better ways to build better working relationships between the project manager and project sponsor.
